Certain sector-leading brand names, such as Genie (access equipment) and materials processing specialist Powerscreen, have been retained while most of the other machines have been rebranded Terex and been painted in its distinctive white livery.
Today Terex’s construction division builds backhoe, skid steer, tracked and wheel loaders, rollers, site dumpers, articulated and rigid dump trucks, excavators and tunnelling machines.

Its roadbuilding division produces asphalt and concrete plants and pavers, reclaimers/stabilisers, cold planers and ready-mix concrete trucks. Terex Cranes manufactures mobile, crawler and tower cranes, as well as gantry cranes and container handling equipment. Access equipment is marketed under the Genie name and includes boom and scissor lifts, under-bridge inspection units, trailer-mounted lifts, personnel and materials lifts and telehandlers.
Materials processing machinery such as crushers, screens and washing plant either come branded as Powerscreen or Terex/Terex Findlay. In addition the company produces landfill compactors and lighting towers, port equipment and materials handlers - n fact there are very few machine types Terex doesn’t manufacture. Through a series of partnerships Terex has representation in countries such as China, India and Russia as well as a global spread of wholly owned distributors and local dealers.
